“Strive not to be a success, but to be of value.” – Albert Einstein
Recognizing that the work of our local not-for-profit organizations makes our community strong and that many of these groups lack communications/PR resources; the IABC Grand Valley branch conceived a plan in 2009 to share their combined communications expertise with the NFP community in an affordable and knowledge-packed half day symposium, called the Gift of Communication. The 2009 event exceeded all expectations; with outstanding feedback from attendees and an IABC International award for Community Involvement.

Again in 2010, the IABC Grand Valley has gathered a roster of senior experts in the field of communications. Seminar topics were devised with a panel of NFP partners, to reflect the concerns and challenges in the NFP sector today.

This is your event. A gift of skills, tips and expertise from many talented communicators; who will provide effective, practical and creative ways to take your communications/PR efforts to another level.

Participate:
Join us on the morning of April 7, 2010 at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre (Hespeler Road and Hwy 401).  Accept our gift; expand your communications.

This event is offered at a cost-recovery-only charge of $65 per attendee, which includes a light breakfast, continuous coffee breaks, lunch and resource materials.
